Today the official Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver website announced that the Pikachu-Coloured Pichu will be distributed from March 5th 2010 to March 25th 2010 for all regions, with the exception of Japan and Korea, of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Since this event is being distributed over Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection, it will also be available for those of you in other parts of the world with a copy of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum that meet the regional criteria. Thanks for reading!
Just last week, the Arceus event in Spain commenced and we now have the wonder card available for download. Like the other European Arceus events, this one has the Original Trainer (OT) MICHINA and is at level 100. The event distribution is taking place in Spain's GAME stores from February 26th to April 11th 2010. Check out the poster to the right, courtesy of ZonaSafari.
Furthermore, thanks to contributions from our member iluvatar we now have the French Regigigas and the French Arceus wonder cards available for download as well. The Arceus is practically identical to those being distributed in other European countries with the exception of its region. This Arceus is being distributed at GAME, Micromania, Toys "R" Us and Shi FU Mi stores across France but no official end date has been announced. All we know is that the event started on February 20th 2010 thanks to Pokebip. The French Regigigas is long overdue as it was distributed last year, but it's now finally available as well!

Today marks the beginning of the distribution of the GameStop Jirachi in GameStop stores across the United States. The Official Pokémon Website made an official announcement yesterday about the event. As usual, we already have the Wonder Card and Pokémon File of the GameStop Jirachi readily available for download on the website. For complete details about the event, check out the GameStop Jirachi Event Database entry.
This Jirachi unlocks a special PokéWalker course in the upcoming release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

You may have noticed that the site was down for a few weeks, but now it's back up. I cleaned up the theme since the site went offline and I added a new, fun background as well. In addition, some back-end tools were added to make the management of the site more easy and some code was cleaned up to bulk up the site's performance.
In addition, I have started the creation of a true "Event Database". Gold Ursaring's comprehensive event guide has not been updated in years, but it was an excellent reference for Pokémon event enthusiasts all around the world during its time. I am, to some extent, expanding the idea of an ultimate event reference. This site will be filled with tons of information about every single event - from the first to fifth generation of Pokémon distributions.
At the moment, the site only has information about the American fourth generation events, but I plan to continue writing more pages for all fourth generation events, then for events in prior generations. Each event has its own independent page and the new search bar will allow you to find information about a specific event Pokémon very easily.
In regards to event downloads, they are still up and now.. updated! Items will be added soon and we are still missing some events. The event database pages will soon render the list download pages obsolete. Each event page will have download links in the future. If you would like to contribute your own events or information for our event pages, feel free to use the pseudo-new forums to upload files and give critical feedback.
Thank you for reading and thanks to all the supporters! It's been almost two years since I started the original Pokémon Event Database (db.pokesav.org) alongside iRiteGood and it's been one heck of a ride ever since. I couldn't have done it without the visitors and members supporting the site.
I will update the site at my own pace, however, if you are willing to contribute and increase the speed of the updates, that would be awesome! New events will most likely be added within 24 hours of release, assuming someone contributes them in time, and exclusive pre-releases will be here as usual. Please note that, at the moment, I am the only admin and because of school and other real-life commitments, I can't upload events as soon as they are released.
Thanks for reading! The site will continue being updated although it's open. More pages coming soon!
